Title says it all. Ive been on the search for a saddle pad liner. I have the BOT and its fine other than summer. I havent found a wool one I really like. THe 5 star liner is " OK" and the weaver ones are to short on the sides. I'm trying the reinsman ( Its not contoured so I haven't decided if I like it yet). Let me know what you use and like please! Thanks!

Just curious. Do you not use yours in the summer months and why?
I use the BOT always, never ever had a issue using it during summer or winter..

I really love my BOT pads but when my horses sweat it soaks up A LOT of sweat ( Literally driping sometimes) and it makes my saddle feel like I'm riding a wet sponge. LOL So I prefer Not to. LOL My only option would be to warm up my horses with one and change to a fresh one just before I ran. When its not hot, Idon't have these issues.
Professionals Choice came out with one that I really like. I use them under a felt pad. They’re plenty big and are holding up well. They get washed about 2-3 times per week this time of year and are holding up well.

Ah! Makes sense! I havent had that issue yet but you live in a much warmer climate than I do as well!
Saddleright used to have some nice wool liners... Thin and had a contoured middle seam. I cut mine to fit my pads and then washed them in the washer like an idiot.

Googled it and Stateline tack has them on sale right now. It was the contoured one, too.
Cashel felt liner is the one I keep going back to.
I use a single navajo blanket under my 5 Star and other pads.

Yep I looked at those to! I'm mainly interested in wool for the sweat factor. I ordered one I think will work! So far for my one horse the 5 star liner really seems to be doing the trick!

I considered that option to and my horses are pretty round backed and thought it might slip a little. Thanks all for the ideas! So many options out there.
I have a Dura-Tech cotton quilited liner I like. So far it has held up well. I just wish it was 32x32 instead if 30x30. Cashel makes one that I want to try that is the size I want.
I ended up ordering a diamond wool 3/8". Slightly more than a 1/4" and not as thick as a 1/2" which is to thick for my needs. Crossing my fingers!
