| I am breeding my good DTF mare and my Frenchamn's Guy mare both to Epic Leader. I just saw on his FB that
Hallie Melvin Hanssen and Mean Cheerleader (Epic x Martha Six moon mare) won reserve in the slot race running 17.03 on a standard. They won 3rd in the round and 5th in the average at the Greg Olson winning a little over $14,000 for the weekend and $20k in the past two weekends!
And Lacey Harmon won 2nd on Epic Nick (2nd go)
And, several Epic’s did good at Tx ultimate barrel classic, but I can’t read the some of the results that were posted its a wee bit blurry
Epic Guy, 4th CP He Will Be Epic 5th in Ave $$2580 and placed 4th, 2nd round 15.199. $2485 with Kassie
Kassie rode Epic Bit of Fame and Back The Blue, 10th Ave.
3 in Top 10 Average and looks like 4 in the top 12
I knew after watching Epic's babies do so well at the BFA that this was going to be an EPIC year or his first real crop of babies. I am so excited for 2020 I can't wait.
I wonder if Has anyone crossed a Slick By Design or Shawne Bug Leo or a BJO mare with an Epic yet?

So did we & wowza is she a hot tamale! I love our filly, but no way no how would she have been mentally ready to futurity as a 4 year old. She is turning 4 in May & “might” be able to as a 5. She’s plenty fast & athletic enough but as tightly wound of a horse as I’ve ever been around. I’d breed to Epic Leader again in a minute but definitely not with that particular mare

So I am really wondering if anyone is selling any Epic's. Don't see anything available which makes me think he is a good bet to breed to hence there are none 4sale. I want one. |

He has an extremely limited number because he has a hard time settling them. Plus he’s been moved around a bunch and that tends to turn people off. |

| I rather have a limited number of something in VERY high demand versus something that is over-flooded market that you can get anywhere.
I never had any problem with either place he stood. Which has been two places. Shawne Bug Leo / Streak of Fling and others have all been to a lot of locations I think as long as people get treated well they don't mind.

Supply has no effect on demand. |

Location: Texas | I would think there aren't enough old SBDs to see them crossed on much of anything yet, other than a few who probably got hurt as prospects and immediately went into breeding so, IDK if I have seen any Epics on any SBDs.
I sure love Epic Leader. I loved him as a futurity horse and after. I hadn't pulled the trigger yet to breed to him and wished I would have! |

| I have ridden and been around quite a few Epic’s. All with the exception of one were hot. They are smart, fast, and want to be good. |

Location: God's country | That makes me feel better, I thought mine was the only one that was super hot. I wonder which side it comes from? I loved Firewater Fiesta so had thought about maybe breeding to Fiestas Gotta Gun, but if all the heat is coming from her, I’ll definitely rethink my choice of mares. |
