I know this has been asked a MILLION times, but what saddle and saddle pad do you recommend?

* Right now I have a Crown C and it is SO heavy! I love everything about it, but I just want something lighter. For saddle pads, I just have a 3/4 inch wool pad. I am wanting to upgrade and try something new. Thank you in advance.

Just depends on how your horse is built. I have a Crown C and Pozzis for my different built horses and a Caldwell pro max.. Lol, my horses are so different from one another, I use 5 Star pads and I have different thickness in them.

Do you have a picture of your horse?

I have one horse that loves saddleright pads and one that only likes 5 stars. Lol. Saddles are as individual as tennis shoes.

I love my Burns and so far it seems to fit most of what I’ve put it on with pad adjustments.  Eventually I’ll probably own the wider version too.

We have 5 stars in about every thickness, a saddleright, a csi, some classic zone pad my husband refuses to give up...I think there’s a dusty best ever on a saddle rack and another trophy pad too.

Thank you all for your response. Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I will try to upload a picture tonight of my gelding and mare.
