| So I have noticed many people on my FB feed discussing how horse ads on the platform are being deleted. Others are creating other profiles on alternate social platforms in order to be able to post. I guess we may see an increase in traffic here on BHW as a result. Thoughts anyone? |

Location: Canada | I'm really sad that Facebook made that decision. I loved that when I was shopping for horses I could join a group and have access (in one location) to horses across the country. I could see previous questions asked/answered. I have found some fantastic horses using facebook that I would have otherwise never come across. With PETA becoming a shareholder in Facebook on July 1 I think we're going to see a lot of changes to Facebook. |

Location: Owensville, IN | i've been on the MeWe app now for a couple days and have shut off all notifications. until i figure it out i'm not turning them back on. there are more and more horse sites going over to it but for the general horse/tack swap page i'm on, i'm not impressed with any of it. it all runs together seems like and i haven't spend enough time on it to figure out the search engine within a certain page. kinda complicated at first so hopefully it gets better. |

| Peta has bought stock in fb. many breeders feel this is why fb is attacking horse sellers & breeders. I am seeing peta trolls on fb. One forum I am on had some moron " had to be a peta lover" come on saying we all need to let opposums live because they eat ticks, etc & they are cute. I said, guineas eat ticks to. I don't know any horse people who care to have opposums around their horses. They are nasty things & besides the epm thing, they will kill chickens. We know, been there, had them kill ours. |

Location: WYOMING | I hated FB horse ads anyway. You got a lot of questions from a lot of NON serious buyers. You got a lot of offers from low ballers. You got a lot of unasked for opinions. You got FB armchair QB's putting their unwanted two cents in. They seemed to bring out the crazy. Not gonna miss them at all. Never sold a horse from FB. Same horse, same ad here and I got legitamate inquiries and actual sales. |

| yeah fb has changed. not only with the horse ads but otherwise too. I joined mewe, but I haven't got real good at navigating it yet. I did find about 6 or 7 horse groups to join and I have added my horse for sale on there. But I am not impressed with the arrangement of the app, the options or anything about it so far. Its new, so hopefully it will get better.

| I created a FB page for our brand/training which seems to viewed as a “legitimate business” and sharing from there gets you around the BS. ive gotten more hits off of BHW. but we also sell a lot of rope horses, I know that there’s Roping Horse World but it doesn’t seem to have much action on it ???? |

| It's terrible! But I'm gonna be honest, I dont care much for shopping for a horse on Facebook anyway, I've yet to buy or sell one on there. I prefer the old fashioned way, thru word of mouth from friends and or acquaintances. Feels more legit and less likely to be screwed over on a deal. Now, I've bought and sold plenty of tack on Facebook, I love it lol! |

Location: in the ozone | And it's not just animal ads that FB is getting stupid about. I know people who got put in FB jail (or "time out" - give me a break!!!) for posting anything about guns AND for making comments about the liberal jerks. They are getting so stupid about everything, and going to lose a lot of people. I joined mewe too but not thrilled with it so far. |

| I posted (well, tried to) an ISO BOT quick wraps for my horse, used ok size 14. And I got a notice from Facebook saying my post violated one of their policies and if I felt it needed further review to submit it, so I did! I wrote a friendly little note in the comments section. |

Location: Kansas | I joined MeWe to list my colt for sale, and it is not user friendly at all. I'm having problems finding horse groups, plus too many porn adds being posted by users. |

Bean nailed it. Even as a buyer on FB, a person had to weed through hundreds of culls to find a decent prospect. I never cared for it as a buying or selling format for horses. That said, it's the principal that irritates me. FB is cutting off its nose to spite its face with this policy that they're suddenly enforcing. I'm also in a bunch of fish groups with sales and auctions, and they're shutting them down right and left. It's hurt a LOT of my friend's who breed and import and rely on FB to market the fish. |

Location: North Dakota | Facebook is a joke with some things. I keep trying to post an ad for some western conchos I have with bling crystals on them, and they keep saying it's an illegal item against their policy. WTH? Yet people can sell contact lenses on Facebook (which is illegal btw) and they let that slide. |
