Lots of good information vjls, we need to keep this bumped up so just in case someone does need this service.

And I'm in Seguin Texas and have a few pens that could be used also, they are not the greatest but would work if anyone needs..

The slow movement is going to let it dump tons of rain and cause major flooding. when Hurricane Harvey did this 2 yrs ago, some areas in TX got 55-60 inches of rain. Get to high ground if you are in FL and surrounding areas.

My niece lives in West Palm Beach. She is news producer and has to stay, I am worried sick about her. My nephew, her brother lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and I worried for him, too. I am praying like crazy this storm starts to weaken before it hits land.

My momma's cousin had a home in FL for several years, but after having stayed thru a couple of hurricanes or worrying about what would happen to their house when they left because of storms, they said "enough" and moved.   We always worried about her, so I pray for your family's safety

My sister just moved to the Villages and is working to convince herself she loves it there.  Can't get her to leave ahead of this storm.  She thinks it will be just be a big rainstorm where she is.  Maybe it will be.

When Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport texas in 2017 it devastated Rockport it came in as a cat 4, the people that didnt leave said that they been threw hurricans befor so were not leaving but after Harvey they wont ride another one out again. Here in Seguin we felt Harvey the winds were crazy, Houston and many other towns were flooded it was unbeliveable, 60 inches of rain cause alot of damage and death. Dorian should be taked very serious, why risk your family. Even if Dorian weakens its still going to cause damage and God forbid death..

I ventured to walmart yesterday for normal weekly things and it was a mad house. People were grabbing water and can goods. I wish i had more room to offer for evac but i have a 3 stall barn and 3 horses. I live on a hill so never worry about flooding
