Good news (I hope) ...... last of the 4 eye surgeries (rt. cataract) scheduled for this morning! It has been a loooonnnngg summer!

Location: Displaced Iowegian | Thanks for checking!!!! Let's just say that it has not been a "fun" summer and it is not over yet. I have to wait another two weeks before they will be able to test my eyes for the need of new glasses. Right now, I am in between ...... I can see great without my glasses for distance but can't see to read really small print. Unfortunately, my present glasses are too strong to be able to see up close WITH them.....Due to other issues (Astigmatism, etc), I will still need glasses but should be able to see MUCH better .....fingers crossed! |

I went to the Dollar Tree store yesterday and bought me a pair of "cheater" eye glasses for a buck ....now I can read small print .... LOL |

My left eye had been giving me problems as it was scratchy, red and painful at times, It does seem that it has cleared up. I picked up my new glasses today which makes things seem brighter and I can actually read the fine print....LOL |

Unfortunately, recovery hasn't been as smooth as I would have liked. My left eye had been giving me problems as it was scratchy, red and painful at times, It does seem that it has cleared up. I picked up my new glasses today which makes things seem brighter and I can actually read the fine print....LOL
