| Just like the title says! Do you like them and why/why not? |

Location: South Georgia | No! I do not care for the look of them, I don't like anything flapping around, and I just dont see the point in them. To me, they are distracting and give a "messy" look. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I guess if you do alot of trail riding they would come in handy and handy on a roping saddle too, but for a barrel saddle nope dont see any need for them. |

| Nay, unless you trail ride a lot. I dont want all that flopping around on my barrel saddle. I have enough trouble with just my over under, LOL. |

Location: Illinois | I take mine on & off. The tiny D-rings came on the saddle. If I'm doing an all day trail ride I have a saddle bag for snacks & drinks & I just put them on when I use that & then take them off when I'm done. Sometimes I'll tie a sweatshirt or jacket to the saddle if we're not going out for long & it looks like rain. I like to go long trot the trails, so sometimes they're nice to have. But I wouldn't want them on all the time |

| I don't have a saddle with them - but personally I don't mind the look of them on saddles I've seen. Personal preference! I hate fringe breast collars but that trend hasn't died yet, either lol. |

| I have a barrel saddle that came with them on it, however, they're not the typical long saddle strings. They're shorter (I'd say a foot long, at most). They don't bother me, I think with them being shorter they don't flap around very much. |

| The saddle I'm looking to do has the option and they are also shorter. First I was not into them AT ALL but the more I look at examples of what others have done they are growing on me a little bit. They remind me of old saddles I had to ride in way back when I was a little kid, lol. Thanks for the comments! |

| We have them on a couple roping saddles, we have them sort of twisted around themselves and tied up so they don't flop. I probably wouldn't order them on a barrel saddle, but if I liked a used saddle they wouldn't detour me. |

Agree with both.........hate the fringed breast collars. The simplier the better. Show off your horse not the leather hanging all over his head and body. |

| All they do is get in the way when I’m throwing my saddle on my horse. Don’t get them unless you’re never going to be in a hurry. No use for them other than if you find them pleasing to the eye. |

Location: TX | I really like strings on my saddle. I like the look of it. They don't bother me riding colts or making a run. And they don't really get in the way while saddling either, every now and then you have to pull one out from under the saddle.. but that doesn't bother me! |

| I personally don't see the need/use/reason if a saddle is only used for barels. But all my trail riding/ using/ colt saddles have them. To me a horse isn't broke if it isn't used to packing something or having something flopping around. |
