We currently have a 4 horse Platinum LQ horse trailer as well as a 30ft stock trailer. I am wanting to get a little run around trailer for when I just want to haul 1 or 2 horses to a barrel race or a broodmare to the vet to get checked. I was looking at the Elite Bumper Pull Wrangler Stock Combo Plus and was wondering if anyone has any epereience with Elite trailers and their quality? I am hoping to be able to pull this with my 2018 F150 that has the towing package on it. Do you think a 3 horse would be to much for it?
we have a gooseneck 4 horse,I wouldn't own anything else,I LOVE OUR ELITE,built very nice.
I have a 2H bumper pull 4Star that is my run around trailer. I typically pull it with an F250 or F350. My truck was in the shop and I had to pull it with an F150 loaner and it was a little sketchy. I was going up miniature hills and it couldn't keep an even speed. It didn't feel particularly safe. My personal recommendation is to not go over a 2 horse with that size truck. Just my 2 cents:)
I looked like this guy going up a hill with people waiting behind me as I slowed down.
We have an elite 3 horse & love it. The only trailer's I would own are Elite, Platnium or Turnbow
I feel comfortable with a 2 horse BP on a 1/2 ton. The 3 horses I've hauled have been a little sketchy in my opinion.
I feel some was weight and some was length - so if you're talking 3H with minimal front tack maybe, but the dog starts wagging the tail pretty quick.
