As I was researching bits, I stumbles across a sweet 6 bit. Looked interesting, does anybody use these? Are they harsh?

My daughter has a horse that runs in one and he seems to like it. It kinda has the feel of a snaffle with a direct pull but you can still get a little inside with it because of the gag. It's not a harsh bit and could be used as a step up to a curb from a snaffle. I myself prefer the feel of a tender touch over the sweet six though. Just personal preference on the feel.
