AQHA world show email address [email protected]. If you were disappointed in the fact that only 1 jacket was awarded instead of awards to the top 15 a quick email to this address might help get the awards back. There is no way to make money in the smaller classes so the prizes are important.

Well that is pretty crappy. In the Level 2 classes you used to get a $25 gift certificate for a vest. I think the vest was about $125 so jackets were not awarded in Level 2. The people that were in front of me were able to use the $25 on a jacket but they would not let me. My horse was third in level 3 and my trainer and I always buy a second jacket so we each have one. They really should give jackets to the top ten! The entry fee for the class pays for the jacket! You don't win much money in any class.
Please send an email to Mr Kyle, but do be polite as he is just doing his job but with lots of emails he can present to the higher ups might help.

I am not very happy with AQHA anyway. Seems it is OK for shows to ignore the rules but exhibitors better follow them to the letter. I will send an email and I will be courteous but it is certainly a mute point for anyone who participated in timed events to put their two cents worth in! The ONLY reasany show has timed events is to get more entry fees. They don't know anything about timed events and don't care to learn!
I agree that AQHA leans to the pleasure and halter ( the rich crowd ) but if they bring the prizes back it might be worth going. The rich crowd does love their prizes too.
If you show AQHA please take a moment to email [email protected] to request the jackets and vests to be awarded to the top 15 as they have been in the past.
