So as not to steal the other lasix post, what do you prefer: IM lasix or oral lasix for your bleeders? Trying to figure out the best option for mine as he bled out once last summer (no indication of bleeding beforehand) and trying to figure out what to do because haven't been able to coordinate scoping after a run because of work.
I always did IM unless my friend was there & I just had her do IV. I suck at IV

I can't do IV...I can do IM, but heard something about oral, so was wondering about that.
From what I got from my vet IV is fastest, then IM, then oral. So if you're going to do oral you have give it longer to work. Also depending on horse & it's behavior with syringes in mouth, you might end up wasting some. Or start creating a bad habit & have the horse start refusing it. I think it's easiest to just do IM. My horse doesn't require it anymore to run so I'm glad I don't have to mess with it. Giving a black horse lasix on 90 degree summer days to make a run wasn't my favorite thing to do
