I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.  But I was wondering what you all experience was if you dealt with this. 

Bout 3 mths ago an equine dentist told me and showed me that a tooth towards the front but on the side, the enamel is gone and thinks I should pull it but we needed xrays first.  He been eating fine I was just there for routine checkup.  He has ate like his teeth may be bothering him but only for a day or two and then normal so I just took it like people sometimes we bite wrong.  Anywasys I havent been riding him and I ride in a hackamore when I do ride. 

Xrays showed clean.  So I waited and now he does eat like his teeth is bothering him and when I rode him I can tell his head bothers him.  I did rexray the 2nd time but still no signs of infection. 

I'm so stupid sometimes lol I never did xray the other side was just focused on that one tooth.  Im going this friday to get his TMJ and the right side of his teeth x ray to make sure before I make the decision of pulling the tooth on the left.

If xrays shows nothing then that takes me back to the left tooth.  If that is still not showing infected I'm not sure bout pulling it but yet I know my horse is really bothered by something in he teeth area or TMJ. 

Anyone been told that the enamel gone?

Bump hoping for some help for your guy

Is your equine dentist a veterinarian as well?  If not, have you had him looked at by a vet to see if something else is bothering him that is manifesting as a facial symptom?
