| And just like that, there is all kinds of toilet paper being advertised for sale on fb. Some people are really sick to be scamming people in a disaster. |

| Unfortunately price gouging is happening all around us. Saying its supply and demand.... ground meat and our local small town local butcher/meat market almost doubled and steaks are over $10lb when they use to be around $4 or $5 p/pd. Every morning I wake up hoping this was all a bad dream or that there will be some good news that happened overnight in regards to this. |

Yes, we are done with them. I realize the demand has skyrocketed but we are a very small town and they hadn't been open very long... we went there a lot to buy our meat... people coming in from larger towns buying everything up. But they are advertising they have plenty of meat for everyone to come on up... no thanks.. |

When all this is over the big spenders will forget all about this little business and stick to their big city and all the locals in this town will remember what this business did to them {to the locals} that supported them, I sure would not forget.. I hate people that take advantage of others in a crisis, they should have been looking out for the locals that supported them in the first place. |

Since the Arkansas Governor has called a state of emergency, the AR Attorney General has instituted Act 376 of 1997 which prohibits businesses from price gouging during a state of emergency. The law prohibits businesses from charging more than 10 percent above the pre-disaster price of goods or services. The scope of the law is broad and is intended to cover anything that may be needed in the event of a state of emergency. Examples of items and services covered by the law include: food, fuel, water, flashlights, batteries, blankets, medicine, bandages and construction materials. The fines can be up to $10,000. The only exceptions is IF they can prove that they had to pay more. She has already been taking reports. |

So far buisness's in our town are great. Many people helping others. No price gouging here, but what ****'s me off it the powers that run fb are allowing these scammers to advertise. How much you want to bet if one orders t.p. from these links on fb, you will never get your t.p. |

When Gov Greg Abbott was on TV the other day I'm pretty sure he said that he set this law into motion here in Texas too. |

Location: My happy place | So glad I see none of that on my facebook yet. Just small business stepping up distillers making hand sanitizers, giving it to police and first responders or anyone in need. Where to get help and funny things to make me laugh about being stuck at home. Did you see the 5 year old that traced the sissors? I did see where Costco will not take returns on water or toilet paper, which I think is great. Hope they hoarded something to eat too.

Location: Kansas | So we've had to hide all of our bottles of hand sanitizer that aren't attached to the wall here at the hospital. Patients and their family members have been stealing any bottles they can find....which I mean is okay, considering those bottles of sanitizer smell like dirty buttcrack so most of us nurses prefer to use the foam sanitizer. I haven't seen any of them listed on facebook marketplace yet lol |

I haven't seen much of people selling to the public in way of hand sanitizer and the ever so elusive toilet paper! We counted rolls we have left in our house and we had 15 plus i had a few stashed in my horse trailer along with a few containers of Clorox wipes. I believe we have plenty. As far as hand sanitizer and hydrogen peroxide I'm definitely set. I use hydrogen peroxide in everything cleaning wise in my house instead of Clorox... jacob and myself are both sensitive to that bleachy smell ... so HP does the job. I found a great resource that wasnt pricing gouging and said they had plenty in stock, so I ordered. It's not like I wont use it because I for sure will even when all this stuff becomes readily available again. I use hand sanitizer daily and the HP. I'm now seeing random companies popping up on Facebook with ridiculous pricing on hand sanitizer... but people are buying like crazy |

| I just can't anymore.... these things are popping up on my feed. My once happy horse and family only feed. Some really desperate and I hate to use the word stupid when referring to people, but I cannot think of any other word at the moment took some pills that are apparently fish tank cleaner tablets because it has the "medication " or ingredient IN IT that Trump was discussing saying it could be a POSSIBLE treatment for coronavirus.. one died and the other in critical condition from ingesting it.. the LIBERAL media is blaming Trump for this. And the liberal minions are having a hayday with it as well. Blaming Trump for mentioning it on TV. This makes me sad and SICK .... no one wants to be held accountable for their own actions anymore. This seriously scares me to death.
