Psalm 119:161-162 Princes persecute me without a cause, but my heart stand in awe of Your word. I REJOICE at Your word as one who finds a great treasure.

Treasure that is more valuable than any pot of gold.  It is the treasure of God's Word, the storehouse of HIs timeless principles of life. The psalmist rejoiced at God's Word"as one who finds a great treasure. V 162. Years later Jess wold compare the kingdom of God to a treasure a man stumbled across while walking in a field. The man, Jesus said,, would go no sell all he had to buy the field and own the treasure Matthew 13:44.  Whatever he lost wold not compare to the enormity of what he gained. Such is God's kingdom. It is a GREAT TREASURE. When you SEE it is true, you will willingly sacrifice whatever you must to lay hold of the treasure. You will repent and turn away from an old way of life and embrace a new life that God offers..  the Bible we hold and the truth it contains is a GREAT TREASURE. Give THANKS for the treasure and dive in to discover it's truth today..

Father God, guide us to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO YOU AMEN
