I'm in NJ. I work for state government. They sent everyone home in my building except the essentials - which are supervisors and management- almost 2 weeks ago. I spoke with my supervisor and they just set them up to work from home.

Only essential business' are open, however, the state parks are still open to enjoy for hiking etc.

I only go from home to the barn to feed my horses and the grocery store (which I really hate going to now). I am still riding but have not left the farm. Tempting not to haul to one of the state parks for a trail ride.....

Tennessee is not yet but I feel we will be soon. Governor is strongly encouraging everyone to stay at home. Just essential businesses be open.

I'm in CO. Yep, shelter in place. My husband is essential but they put him on an every other day schedule where he goes to his job in Denver. The job site is temping everyone before they let them on site. It's been a sh!t show because our governor is pretty much an idiot that thinks he's smart.
As an example. At first he shut down all the liquor stores and dispensaries. After people lost their minds and there were mile long traffic lines both directions in front of all liquor stores and pot shops...he decided to make them "essential".

Then there was his decision to close the ski slopes. That's fine and dandy. But he clearly didn't ask anyone from upon the mountains how to do it. Any local could have told him to first close down the bars and restaurants, THEN the slopes. He closed the slopes first. So instead of being spread out over the mountain, everyone congregated on Main Street in Breckenridge where it looked like the 4th Of July or Mardi Gras as people partied in the bars.

Don't even get me started on the citidiots and townidiots. I've left our property once in almost two weeks. I'm perfectly happy about it too, lol!

We are here in Montana. My previous work is non-essential, so we have been shutdown since Saturday, but were mainly working by appointment only before that so as to stay distant from anyone infected. But my horses are getting to be in great shape!

Sorry if this is TMI, but wanted to share, as I'm sure you are all dealing with something similar. I started the process of applying for and changing jobs in January, applying to and being accepted with the State of Montana, their hiring process includes background check, so it takes a while. So I was finally given a start date of April 13 this week. While I'm still excited about my job and move, I am scared too as I never anticipated having to move and set up a place to live (I'm moving out of town) in the midst of a pandemic compounded by shelter in place. Beyond that I can't come back home until the majority of this is over for fear of bringing something home to my parents, because they are nearly 70. My boyfriend, at the first part of March, was sent to Alabama for military training, and returned home on Saturday and now has to be quarintined because of his travel, which I totally understand, but I want this thing to get over already.

As of today, the entire state of FL is shelter in place, expanded from just south FL.

I'm in state government and my agency has been working from home for the last two weeks. It's uneven across the executive agencies but luckily I work for the right one. They sent us home before the governor did. My husband can't work from home but luckily his business has been classified as essential.Other than no commute (which is awesome) and no barrel races, my life hasn't really materially changed. I didn't realize how little I left the farm.
