Location: the land of dust & sticks | So I got this filly back in the fall and she was really sun bleached so I thought when she shed out in the spring I would know her true color....or maybe not....Sire is blue roan with no cream dilution 4 generations back, Dam is sorrel with 1 cream (palomino)dilution 4 generations back. Only other thing I can do is genetic test her but I’d like to narrow that down to one or 2 instead of doing the whole set...but I thought it’d be neat to see people’s thoughts here too....here’s some pictures....

Location: the land of dust & sticks | So the first picture she was sun bleached, the 2nd was dead of winter and this one is from last weekend and I’d say she’s even a little lighter now as she has let go of a little more hair this week...

| i see no roan, definately not black, therefore his is heterozygous Ee No cream present (or dam would have been palomino: Mare is red So is your horse - simply ee (red, chectnut, sorrel.) No need for testing, this one is easy |

I wouldn't know what color to call her but I just want to say that whatever it is I absolutely LOVE it, she is so unique!! Like a combination of chocolate palomino and sorrel |

Our last herd member looks buckskin sometimes and grulla sometimes--but nothing like your girl! I think she's lovely! |
