| OK!! Im done. I cant take it anymore. I bought a mare that we all love and adore but she cannot get enough of peeing in the trailer. She does it ALL the time. I dont know why but it is what it is. I cannot go to sleep at night knowing that the urine is eating away at the aluminum flooring on my sweet trailer so I haul out those heavy mats, spray it, etc etc. I am SO over it. I know its been a thread here before but I wanted to start a new one in case there were any new products out there. I am looking at the coolhorse spray in or something like that. I have a friend that has used cattle cushion mats that are lighter and they like those but Im in the fed up phase right now so Im doing research. Yes my mats are outside drying as I type this. UGH!!! |

| I looked up neutralizing urine and the best thing I found was for urine ODOR. This should work for neutralizing the urine though. Half and half vinegar and water. Urine is a base and vinegar is an acid. They neutralize each other. I would put in pump up sprayer. Roll back the mats, spray let it sit and then rinse. Also they make a handle for picking up the mats which is kind of handy. |

I remove my mats always after a weekend of hauling and wash out my trailer really well and air out, I dont know of any horses that dont pee in the trailer, mine always waited to get in befor they peed, LOL.. dont bother me just clean as offten as needed, I use vise-grips to pull out matts and did buy a couple of these that work really too. |

| I may need to get those grippers. They look handy. I just wish they weighed a whole bunch less . Has nobody heard any good things about those spray in liners? |

Location: Dubach, LA | The spray in liners aren't recommended by any trailer manufacturers. You need to be able to see your floor. Just pile in the shavings for her. |

| CanCan, you said what I didnt want to hear but fear is the truth. I will get some of those grips and see if that makes the job easier. Thanks to everyone for the input. If anyone has any other thoughts or comments they are appreciated. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I was told that the spray in liners can hold moisture under them also, my Feather lite is a older trailer and the aluminun floor is in great shape since I clean it after being used and I know for a fact that it got peed in and when not in use I keep the front end jacked up high so the rain water drains good. |
