I know I shouldnt be but I am really surprised that companies are turning away customers over the mask deal!  I seen a post of a girl that I know that she presented medical statement bout not wearing masks they told her to order online.  Course she went to another store.

Are these companies getting paid more from who knows who than they would from customers???

It is strange.  I went to an Olive Garden the other day and was asked to wear a mask from the doorway to the booth which was 20 ft. away.  Then, of course, I could take it off.  Seemed a bit absurd.

Not entirely related, but I've been to a few walmarts and they all have the doors open in the market section and the other end closed off. The pharmacy is at the other end. So everyone that just needs to pickup pills have to walk all the way across the front of the store twice, for what coud have been a 20 feet in, 20 feet out trip. Probably to entice them to buy something they see walking by. And the one way aisles, half the time you have to go down an asile with 6 other people just to get to the other aisle you want next to it. So now you've walked by 6 other people you wouldn't have had to otherwise. And our store has been "policing" the one ways, they will yell at you if you do the wrong way. I shop at walmart maybe 2x a year so its no big deal for me to not go, but i needed something my usual store was out of....just so many things that make no sense & seem so counterproductive. Like they want you to spread it around the store

I heard the exact same conversation from one of the girls here at work yesterday.  Being herded in the one open door did not sit well with her.  My nephew in Texas said people were having to wait in line in the hot sun at WalMart.

I totally believe that because China has been so honest about this virus from the very start.

Perhaps many retailers have realized that the  economy is not gosing  to truly rebound until this virus is controlled.

So explain the reasoning behind closing any dressing rooms in wally world.

Took daughter to get a few things and she is a teenager so needs to try on cloths.

Dressing room was closed.  I asked the attenant that was there if we bought the clothes and they didn't fit, would they take a return and she said yes....

I asked what was the difference in trying it on at the store than taking it home to try on.  She didn't didn't think it made sense either.

I'm really glad that businesses are stepping up and making some rules.  I would love to think it is to protect their employees, they may be worth more than the dollar.  However I think once Trump puts some protections in place so no one can sue, that may change.

My 16 year old grand daughter works in a grocery store part time.  I think if she has to wear a mask all day to protect customers the least customers can do is to wear one while shopping to protect her.  Many of the people working are doing so because the have to and can't afford to be sick, grand daughter excluded she has a truck.  I think whining because of your rights is pretty darn childish.  Then again when you think it's all a hoax, I guess science seems stupid to some.

I see TX, FL and AZ putting up some impressive numbers, guess that warm weather is not making it all just disappear.  Please Bear I think you know who said that, you can look it up if you need to.  I believe it was in April.

I still think if he hadn't pulled all our scientists home from China we may have known what was going on and got a handle on it sooner.  Also if he had left the pandemic team in place we would have at least had a plan.  I hear he came up with a new one, seems to be working well. We are winning.  I don't see him having a handle on this at all.  I'm happy big business is at least trying IMO someone needs to try and slow it down.

If the masks did work I would be all for it! and why not done this with the other diseases before this virus?  I do believe we have the virus, but when companies are getting paid for positives and deaths How can you believe the numbers?

When does it stop???

We have been condition to tolerate oh just this little thing and then another little thing and pretty soon before you know it You have lost all rights!!!!  We are sooo close to losing Ameerica!

and the reason our forefathers came to the country.

the masks and the social distancing has really putting a division!  Im am seeing it on fb and in personal life like I have never seen before! and the judging!!!

So when do you say enough is enough!

God created us to breathe without a mask! and not live in a bubble wrap!

If you are sick and dont want to pass then stay home and think of other people.  The healthy people are not the ones spreading the diseases.

I get that you may not know if you have the virus, but you know what you dont hardly hear people getting the flu anymore....

Masks and social distancing have nothing to do with the divide in this coumtry.  It is merely symptom of the FU attitide towards others and me first at all costs syndrome sweeping the nation. I am.sure God is proud.

It is playing a big part!  I am seeing it first hand and I am sure Im not the only one.  It is not the only thing that is dividing people and bringing forth hate, but it does play a part!

Regardlees bout the mask or not I just cant understand how companies can afford to turn away customers.  Especially when there is alot of loop holes in the mask deal.  Like you put on when you walk thru the door and as long as you sit at the table where you are eating you can have off.

My personal opinion is when all this started we didn't have enough masks and PPE for our healthcare workers.  Had they told people to wear masks right away there would have been and even greater shortage.  Look at how people hoarded paper products and other stuff.  We sent a crap load to China in February, IMO that should have been a clue.

I really hate to wear a mask but I can just stay home and if I have to go to town it's not a problem to wear one.

I believe the people who should be fussing about masks are the workers that have to wear them all day.  Not people mad because they can't go play without one.  I'm just thankful the weather is nice and we have land and places to be and visit without masks.  I just can't imagine living in a city or an apartment during all this mess.  I think many of you fussing about rights don't realize how lucky you are.

I am one of the workers that has to wear masks all day and certain ones.  I have been more congested than I ever had.  I have more headaches and it is very depressing wearing one! all Day!!!  like I said if it worked it would be different.

and yes very blessed that I have land and horses! and I stayed away as much as possible when we was shutdown.  How long can this country make it shutdown???  How can businesses make it without customers.

and what happens when the vaccine is mandatory like the masks because it is only a mask, its only a vaccine, its only a chip.  so you tolerate a little thing and then another thing and another thing.

I know some nurses that wore masks and gloves and covered from head to toe and got sick/covid.  and read the boxes of the masks.

At my company we cant wear n95 masks only cotton or paper.  Supposedly the n95 supposed to work the best.  Before the virus my company didnt care if you was sick or with fever and that it was being passed from employee to another, you got pointed if you didn't come in bc you was sick  the only way you avoided points for being sick is if you showed up to work and MOD sent you home.  Sometimes they didn't send you home even tho person was throwing up and whatever else in the bathroom!  So no matter what, measures should have always been taken.I stayed away from them as much as possible and sprayed everything they touched so I wouldn't get sick! So I get taking precautions and I was like this before virus.  But I gurantee you even if you are sick and I know it Im still staying away from you and spraying anything you touch if I have to touch no matter if you have mask on or not.

I was wearing a mask at the grocery store yesterday and was just thinking how hard it was to breathe when a guy ahead of me in my aisle huffing and puffing yelled "Dang, how do you breathe in this thing?"  Good to know I wasn't alone and we both wondered how the staff there could stand to wear them all day.

If you saw the video I saw of a bunch in a foreign sweatshop running them off sewing machines onto the floor where barefoot youngsters were smoothing them out with their bare hands you'd want to be sure and wear only the kind that were washable.  These were the exact disposable ones you see everywhere.  And no "they" weren't wearing masks.
