Location: new york | There are a bunch of Durfer horses sitting in the Kauffman Kill Pen. How can the Durfers sleep at n ight? I doubt they ever missed a meal themselves but their horses did. |

| They have also had them st Bowie Horse Sale and Cleburne Horse Sale. So it was inevitable that they would show up at Kauffman |

Location: Illinois | Kaufman isn't actually a kill pen, they'll probably all get sold. It's a scheme, but they're better off there than somewhere else

| Kuafman just bought all those horses at the Bowie livestock sale last Saturday. I was there..Kaufman is a scam..they buy horses other places than try to sell for profit. But yes 50 of Dufers horses were at the Bowie sale. I bought one. |

| I'd be curious to know if they came directly from the Dufur ranch or if they'd been somewhere else (prior to Bowie). The few I saw on Kaufman Horses fb looked to be in good condition. Hope they find good homes. |

| I inquired on Kaufman and they're asking $1475 per yearling... what a joke. Not that thats high but you know they didnt pay even near that and now you have to deal with all their diseases. |

They now have a great home. The buyers realize they might not get final papers if the DNA doesn't match, but they are okay with that.

| Do you have to go to their place to see them, or do they have them listed somewhere. I went to their website but couldn't get the search to work. |

They are listed under the name Kaufman Horses on FB. You just scroll down through the posts. They will list the pedigree in the comments along with a copy of the transfer. They tell you to message them privately for the price. |

I just dont think Kaufman paid nearly that was what i meant. I think the horses themselves are worth that but a lot of hassle with the kill pen. |

| That's the filly I bought. I only bought her for sentimental reasons, my grandpa bred and raised all 3 of the mares on her bottom side. I grew up with them all up in north Idaho. I live 30 minutes from Bowie now and just happened to click on her in the catalog...so I had to go get her.. |
