Location: Duvall, WA | Is anyone thinking about buying a new truck for fear the green new deal will make them illegal or so expensive they're impossible? I remember Trump saying in the debate that the restrictions on new vehicles would make them so expensive no one would buy them. Our dually is six years old and perfectly fine but my husband is worried about ever being able to afford another with all the new environmental regulations. . . |

| Well, since the charging stations will be operated by generators running on diesel fuel, I doubt that they will be able to do away with diesel fuel. Do you see something more than a little funny about an electric tank trunk delivering diesel to charge cars??? Biden hates 18 wheelers because his wife let her foot off the brake to corral kids in the back seat and rolled forward into the path of a big truck. It killed her and the daughter. It is so easy to blame someone else. I understand the truck driver died of depression after that. |

Location: Lone Star State | I am thinking about it sooner than later, but I am in the market for one anyway. My plan was to purchase an F250 in May but I'm really wondering if I should go ahead now. Will interest rates rise? Demand and prices increase by then? I need to do some research.... |

This. I've done 2 academic research papers on electric vs gas vehicles for my economics degree. Sure, electric cars give off fewer emissions, but where does everyone think the electricity comes from? Electricity is still primarily produced by burning fossil fuels... which, you guessed it, gives off just as many emissions as gas burning vehicles. So already, electric cars are equally as bad as gas burning and that doesn't even factor in the amount of chemical waste required to build batteries that are strong enough to power vehicles. It's a bunch of c**p orchestrated by people who like to form opinions based on popular opinion rather than research and facts. I'm sure that we would all like the environment to be cleaner, but electric cars aren't the way to do it unless they figure out how to stop using fossil fuels altogether to generate electricity. |

I would honestly start now. New vehicles are still quite hard to come by, coming from a wife of a GM parts Representative. Doesn't matter the maker, they're all hard to find. |

Off topic I know, but Biden accused the truck driver of drinking his lunch that day. No other reason to lie other than to gain sympathy from the public, the man is pathetic and dishonest, always has been. |

Location: Florida | My curiosity got me and I looked at the electric GMC's. Wow, $150,000 starting and sold out until at least 2022. I don't think this is something we should bother worrying about. |

Location: CTX | Not sure, but I am glad we upgraded my F150 to a F350 last year. And we still have a 2002 F350 dually that my husband babies. The only thing we need next year is to get my husband a Bronco in replacement for his Mustang. |
