I'm not sure how "new" they are but I was thumbing thru my latest BHN magazine and saw them advertised, I have a tendency to live under a rock lately... it was the first time I saw them. I'm in the market for some new sport boots and these caught my eye... anyone here try them yet? Kind of bummed they only come in black or white but I can deal with it if they are really good.

Yes, they are new for 2020. They are also quite pricey. $98 in tack stores where I live.

I beleive the difference is that they are more flexible where the fetlock area is.

I really love Classic Equine, but I'm not sure if I would pay $100 for sport boots, I'd rather stay with my Legacy2s.

Never even heard of them until now! LOL But honestly, no boots are never going to be able to really protect 'flexion' in the joint..

Unless they fit the lankier horse better and possibly come taller (like some other boot styles) I wouldn't really know what the difference is? Do they breathe better? What material is it that makes them the 'upgraded' version of the classics? Now I'm curious!

I'm not sure what makes them better or upgraded, other than the flexible looking material? I paid $85 for x large iconoclast boots so I figured it wasnt THAT much more.. I do like my iconoclast out of all my boots the best ... I have several pairs of the CE legacy as well that have served their purpose. But yeah, the price is a bit steep ... shoot, everything is.

Did anyone ever try these?? The difference is they are supposed to conform to the lower leg better than the legacy because of the new flexion technology/material. I’m interested in knowing because my old legacys would sometimes leave a gap where the sling strap came around...this sounds like it should prevent that.

I have a horse coming back from a suspensory injury and thought I wanted to get iconoclasts for him because they do go down a little farther but, I’m having problems with them fitting him properly, so now I’m thinking I may want to go back to the CE flexion or classic fit.
