Today is
I have fed it off and on for years. It would always make a horse a little hot that wasn't being used hard enough. I just started it on a couple horses few weeks ago and absolutely zero hotness. Lol. It does have the outlast in it now, I wonder if that has something to do with it? Anyone else feeding it now? Thanks.
I'm referring to the ultium competition, not the gastric care.
I've fed Ultium Competition for years. I didn't notice a difference in my horses after they added the outlast, though. I've always been happy with it!
Whats new about it? Just the outlast?

Yea I think so as far as I can tell. Lol. I actually started it on a couple horses to fire them up a little. Lol
My horse never seemed to react negatively to the original Ultium. He choked a few times on the Gastric Care though. So is this new ultium texture the same as its always been? Soft(ish) pellets without beet pulp shreds or whatever that stuff was in the gastric care. I always liked the outlast

Yep! Looks and smells identical !! Only difference is the addition of the outlast. Pellets are soft. So far so good.
I started with the regular Ultium when that came out and then went to the Ultium Gastric and now Ultium Growth (mares and babies). From what I understand the Outlast is basically like tums. I've been getting it from Tractor Supply forever and the last year I really feel like the quality and consistency is going down hill.
