| The news brought tears to this old man. I feel like I lost a friend of 30 years. He was one hell of a man and will not be replaced. God bless. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Rush was an example of someone finding a career in something about which he was profoundly passionate. He worked very hard and was devoted to his craft and conservatism. He was always quick to point out to young listeners to find that passion and figure out a way to make a living at it. He went to college for one semester and dropped out. He loved radio, even as a little boy. He bounced from job to job as a disc jockey and I think he was fired something like 9 times because he couldn't resist political commentary, even as a disc jockey. He took a break from radio when he took a position in public relations for the Kansas City Royals for a couple years. He returned to radio and landed his own show in Sacramento and later went national in 1988. Nobody in history has come close to him in terms of listeners, influence, and popularity. He averaged 20 million listeners a day. He was probably the single most powerful influence that led to the biggest, sweeping Republican landslide in history in 1994. He was brilliant and was blessed with a wicked sense of humor. I vividly remember the first time I heard the voice of this man with a funny first name. I listened to him whenever possible for over 30 years. I'm really going to miss him. |

Yept when Andy tolded that he had passed away it shocked me because I really thought he would beat this cancer. I really admired the heck out of this man, I loved to listen to him while I fed my horses, I always had my radio dialed into his show, I keep a radio going 24/7 in my feed room so I was sure to get to listen to him. |

Rust was Trumps biggest supporter I think, he truley loved talking about Trump, I loved it when he would interview Trump and how they interacted with each other.. |

Same here. I even listened to him in the OR some days. Listening to radio or music while operating was common. Literally everyone liked listening to him. I always had Rush on when I was in the barn or riding in the indoor arena. Even out here I listened to him with my ear buds on Bluetooth. |

I started listening to Rush in 1989. Wow. Has it been that long? No one said it as well, or held your interest so long, or made you laugh out loud. And he did it on every program, for all those years. He had a gift of pausing, illustrating and making every conclusion - totally logical. Which of course, it was. He will not be replaced. But Rush planted a lot of great conservative seeds. Well done, Rush. You will be missed. |

Location: Kansas | On Fox and Friends they just spoke with the founder of TunneltoTowers who is a pretty awesome person in his own right. Rush raised millions to contribute to this great cause which for anyone who doesn't know provides mortgage-free homes for disabled veterans and beyond. Such a wonderful personality and a true American. We need more like him. |

| He definitely had a gift from God. Fortunately, we know Jesus Christ was his savior, while we will miss him dearly, he is at home; no longer an alien on this planet. |

He was a powerful fund raiser for a number of charities for years. Every year, for over 10 years, they dedicated a day on his show to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, like a telethon. They donated millions themselves and raised tens of millions. I don't envy the lives of these wealthy celebrities. Every single day they know they are being stalked by paparazzi and reporters, and everything they do is put under the microscope. He's had his share of missteps over the years, but he never let it slow him down. |
