Hello,

I just got a pair of antique charro spurs with silver inlay.

Does anyone have advice on how I can clean the rust from the iron without damaging the silver?

Thanks kindly,

-Jason

WD-40 and a series of tooth brushes. Flexible for around the bands. Stiff for the shanks. Also some red scotch brite pads for the shanks. This is all available from Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, Ace Hardware etc.

Do NOT clean the patina off the iron.  Doing so will decrease the value.
