HELP! My yearling out of the blue has developed warts on his nose! He is on a great feed program, free choice mineral, free of worms, excellent condition, little to no stress, etc.!

Any treatment or will they fall off with time? How long do they last?

They usually go away on their own.. my gelding got them when he was young and they went away just fine not too long after.

You know I cant really remember, this happened like about 8 years ago, but is seems like the warts lasted about 2 months if that long.

Old trick, snip warts off with nail clippers and smear their blood around them. Supposedly starts an immune response and helps them go away.

Juvenile warts. They'll go away when his immune system kicks in.
