Hey all, I was wondering if you all could help me. I have a chiropractor that I trust as well as a massage/pemf person that I also trust working on this mare to preface this. My mare seems to hold alot of tension in her head and jaw making her really stiff and will headshake once in awhile when she has not been seen. The vet has also checked her out and we are working on other things and the head and neck are not a issue. I was wondering if there was any excersises or products that you all would suggest to help her. I am looking at the PHT fly mask and upgraded sheet. I do have a off brand magnetic sheet that she likes as well as some equilux light nuggets. I dont want to fight about my current workers that I have, I just would like some suggestions on things I can to do help her/buy to make her feel better. TIA

Find a vet that has experience injecting the TMJ, let them evaluate your horse.  IMO, if your horse needs that joint injected, no alternative therapies will really help.

My vet does have experience in injecting the TMJ. We have discussed this and will re-evulate this again when he comes out this month. But at the moment injections were determined to not be needed.
