| I found one that I absolutely love... I'm just wondering if these hold up well or if they stretch over time?? Anyone have experience with them that can tell me... its not cheap. |

| Love mine, it's all I use now. I've had one for years and it still looks new and hasn't stretched. I'm sure the quality and durability depends on the maker though. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I love the Mohair breast collars, they really stand out but for me my horses really sweat ALOT at the races so never got one because of that, with the humilitiy and heat I was just to chicken to spend that kind of money, LOL. But they are really PRETTY |

Hot & Humid in Texas??!! Lol! Yeah that's what I'm kind of worried about them holding up.. I think I'd probably just use it for races if I ended up getting one. I just can't get over how beautiful this one is. It's calling to me ... |

Location: East TN | I love the look of them! Just haven't made the leap and purchased...yet. I would imagine they'd hold up well though...the cinches do :) Does anyone, by chance, know the dimensions for a mohair making table? I'd love to try and make my own! |

| I'm getting a custom mohair tack set soon! I'll let you know how it holds up by end of summer. I went with mohair because my mare is so thin skinned that leather was rubbing her hair off. Hoping this works better. And it's so pretty! |

Location: Central Texas | I have one made by Brooks Mohair and I use it all the time. I also, live in HOT HUMID central Texas and love it, the breast collar, not the hot and humid. I've had it for 3 or 4 years and it doesn't look that old! |

| I only make them for family now but they last even in TX heat. The edges show sweat if they get really sweaty but they wash in a bucket of soapy water and line dry in one day. They are heavy quality made pieces of art when you hand tie them. It takes forever to make one right, 20 hours worth of work, once you do the leather work and the braiding. It is all I ride with here in TX. You will love them. |

This little turd took my extra money this month I was going to use to buy that custom breast collar..... booooo! Salty booooo!!!! I had to rush him to the vet because he ate something he wasn't supposed to and got plugged up... xrays and some fishing got him cleared out and a cute little, not so little actually, vet bill in my lap ... sigh.... my breast collar will have to wait a few more months ... but my Salty is ok and the plumbing is working as it should so ... I can deal with that lol!!!
