Subject: Saddle Fit for Rider

Hoping the collective brain from the internet can help. Last year I purchased my dream saddle, a 14' Pozzi Pro standard. When I am doing barrel work with my horse I get rocked back on my pockets and feel like I am reaching for my stirrups, which leaves me behind and bouncing. When I ride in my old saddle (14" Rocking R) I have none of these issues. So, in conclusion, the saddle does not fit or is not the correct set up.

Before I list it I am going to shorten my stirrups (already pretty short) to see if this helps at all. The seat size does seem to run bigger than my other saddle, could this be the problem?

Are there any suggestions for saddles that may fit more like my Rocking R?

Any suggestions are welcome.
