Today is
I have a Bob Marshall treeless saddle that I love. I haven't used it in a few years because I had an injury and stopped riding. Now I am going to start riding again and I noticed my nylon billets and nylon stirrup straps are very stiff and hard. I can hardly adjust them. May not be safe either. Anyone know where I can get replacements? Is there any reason not to go to leather? Thanks in advance!
I don't think they are a special size or anything so you can get replacements almost anywhere. There are a bunch of people always selling them on Facebook. Or even Jeffers has them. I'm sure you could go to Lisa's if you didn't want to order online.
I didn't take any time off and mine got hard. It has to do with dirt and moisture in the nylon. I purchased some from whinneywear.com She is a great small business to support. You can also just get leather if you prefer that.

I'm going to go to Lisa's soon. I've got a new horsey and hope to be riding again! You understand....

Thanks. I'll check out whinneywear. Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I think I want leather. It has more give.

Absolutely! I can't wait to see you back! Alot of NBHA races at the fairgrounds next year.

You can contact the people at Bob Marshall and give them the saddle ID and they can get you the replacements that will fit the saddle.
You are right. I contacted them and he has them. I forgot to ask if I could switch out for leather....
I also looked on the Whinneywear site but there was nothing like that. However, I'm putting a few of those pretty shirts on my Christmas list!
