Subject: Ordering a dave elliott

I have a few questions about elliott bits.

Considering ordering a dave elliott for my gelding. He's well broke, and around the barrels he kind of gets overbent and disengages his hind end. I need something that'll help me keep him a little stiffer, but not as stiff as a mullen mouthpiece. I have a high port curb he works well in, but i dont want to run barrels in that haha. I tried a twisted bit with a dogbone mouthpiece but he wasn't a big fan of that. Do you have any suggustions as to which mouthpiece and shank to get (not a big fan of O rings), and how do i go aboit ordering one?

For the shank, i Was thinking of ordering either this one (SU-04) or...

This (MYL-03

As for the mouthpiece, because he works well in a curb i figured i'd stick with a ported bit that was a bit stiffer in order to get him turning more correctly.

Based on the info i've provided, what do you think would be my best option?

His website says they are catching up on orders so i can't order one right now, but i want to have an idea of what i should order :
