| Does anyone ride the Sarah Rose saddle by Circle Y? How does it sit and do you feel balanced ? Horse Fit? I like what I read in that it sets close to the horse. I hate riding a perched up saddle! |

Location: Dubach, LA | Circle Y got me on a saddle last year. It was not well made and didn't fit anything. I have a 15.3 wide barreled down to a 14.3 narrow. No matter what I passed with it popped up terribly in back. I'd be careful. |

The Sarah Rose saddle is the exact same as the Badlands, which is the exact same as the Lisa Lockhart (when she used to be with Circle Y). The "name" of the saddle has changed but it is still the same saddle. Same specs. Same fit. And...... I have one of each. Love them. Sure, the leather quality is NOT what it used to be on Circle Y and there are other brands that have nicer leather quality. But I love how it rides for me, as the rider. Allows you to SIT in the saddle. (Not perched at all.) And I love how it fits my horses. Red has the Lisa in the wide, Shotgun/Dexter use the Badlands in the regular, and Lilly has the Sarah in the regular. Perfectly even sweat marks. Never any soreness. |

What Flex2 did they send you? The wide or the regular? And which exact saddle? There is a difference between the Kelly Kaminski and the Sarah Rose (for example). I tried a Kelly a couple years back and it was NOT the same fit. I sent it back and got the Badlands (which is what it was called at that time -- it's changed names a few times after Lisa left Circle Y) |

Location: Dubach, LA | Circle Y Josey Lightspeed regular tree. I was so disappointed and took a $600 loss on it. |

That one is not a Flex2 tree and not a comparison to the Sarah Rose because it will not fit the same. |

I'm talking about the general quality of Circle Y. The company is selling a saddle that is structurally incorrect. I've met two other ladies that have had them, and they faced the same problem. The saddle digs into the back behind the withers and pops up in back - no matter the size or build of horse. The saddle has been in production at least 4 years. Circle Y knows it's a bad design. Also, I've talked to dealer/reps for HTW and Double J. Those reps sell plenty of flex trees but don't ride them.

The OP was specifically asking about the Sarah Rose design which is a Flex2 saddle. It does NOT dig in behind the withers or pop up in back on my horse. Photo of what I have. Yes, I agree their leather quality is NOT as good as other brands. However, I've had no issues with mine and I have three of the Flex2 saddles. |
