I bought two to try one short shank 5.5 and one original shank 6.5 , both chain mouth, but tell me what you like, dislike, what horses you use them on. Etc. I didn't buy a port one yet because my current horse doesn't like ports so far. 

I've only used a Petska bit on one horse. It was a chain mouth peice (unsure of length). He was a double bred doc bar and very stiff on the first barrel. Dan & Vicki Reinhardt put him in that bit and that was the key to getting a good first barrel with him. That was back in 2000 I think, or maybe 2001. 

i have a low port one and love it - i call it "my yes ma am" bit lol....

all horses i tried it on respected it and stayed off my hands...

other than that all i ride are chain mouths
