During his massage the other day, my poor boy was found to be very sore and tight in his poll. Not sure why but I have a gift card for a store that sells PHT poll packs and I've seen other brands as well. Wonder if any of these can actually help w inflammation (in addition to other care such as massage, chiro, etc).

I have tried both the PHT and BOT, never noticed a difference.

I have used a PHT Poll Pack for a long time with good results.  My old mare would go out in her poll alot, sore, and a lot of tension.  It helped a lot! I have since used one on all of my horses, I've figured for the price of them, it can't hurt.

I think it depends on the horse frankly. I have one mare you cannot put magnets on , she tries to tear the blanket or wraps off and acts like flies are biting her all over, but responds well to copper wraps or the Bemer blanket or boots. I've never tried the BOT products however.

I've used both - never saw any difference at all with PHT, but have had licking & chewing & nice relaxed eyes with the BOT one, especially my mare that has poll problems anyway.

My vet has said that a horse that is sore in the poll is typically sore in the front feet. I happened to have bought one recently that you couldnt hardly touch her poll and come to find out, she's navicular. After changing some things around to help the navicular shes a completely different horse
