I am looking at an older Hart trailer for my daughter to pull back and forth to college.  Any thoughts on Hart trailers?  It is older but taken care of and a reasonable fair price for what they are asking for used trailers overall.

Hart makes a very good trailer. As with any used trailer, pull the mats to confirm that the floor is sound, Check for corner cracks.

Thanks! What do you mean by corner cracks?

Aluminum trailers are weakest in the corners above and below the door hinges. Look for cracks where they are welded in those corners, or signs of repairs there. This is not just about Hart trailers. All used aluminum trailers should be inspected carefully for rewelded areas in the corners and also at the door hinges. Hart makes a very good trailer.

We have a Hart and it is made so well.  We have used it for a long time with no issues.
