They are local to me here in Utah. I've watched them build the saddles and seen them stripped down completely. They are good quality all the way through. The problem is that I always go back to my old saddles that are broken in and comfortable. I hope that with time I like them better.

The overall quality is excellent and I love the way they are designed for spinal relief.  I personally do not like the hard seats (sigh) in most of them.  Go up a half size in the seat size.  I don't know why but they fit "small".  They ride great and are built to last forever.

I've had 3 of them.  Overall very good quality, well made.

1st saddle - 15" md fine for trail riding and dry work but feels big for competing

2nd saddle - 14.5" md was really small for me.  Like could barely squeeze myself in it and NO way I could ride in it.  Literally never put it on a horse.

3rd saddle - 14.5" fdx just a fuzz too small

For my butt and legs the seat style (fd or md) made a big difference in how big or small the seat size felt to me.  I much prefer the x seat.  The non x seats feel like they push me forward.

My "complaint" is the first saddle was a 20 tree.  Seat felt big for me so I bought a smaller seat but still with a 20 tree.  When I opened the box I could tell this 20 was more narrow than my first 20.  Put it on my mare and there was a big difference.   I took mesaurments of both saddles, contacted Burns via messsenger and sent pictures, wondering if it was a custom tree and not labeled different.  They said it was a normal 20 tree - yet they were visibly different. They asked if my horse was symmetrical.   I simply replied yes but it seemed like an odd question.  I'm not asking how it fits her, I wondering why the trees are very different yet labeled the same.  My horse isn't changing in the 2 minutes it takes to switch from one saddle to the other.  No response to my reply.

I'm not mad that the tree is different but going forward if I purchase another saddle how do I know if my original 20 tree is the normal 20 of if this more narrow one is the normal 20???

I was not satisfied with zero response so I called.  Talked to a guy, said he'd look into it.  Never called me back.  Five days later I called him again and he didn't know.  He said "sometimes the trees just change shape and warp".   hmmmmmm
