Location: Kansas | It has been bitter cold in Kansas. All the auto waterers, people and horses are frozen here. I promise no complaining this summer when it's 100 plus temps. |

Location: Kansas | Got all the way up to 17 degrees yesterday afternoon. Glad I don't live in the the Northern states. The snow never seems to be ending for them, let alone the brutal cold. I often wonder how much livestock is being lost. The feed lots in Western Kansas had to have been hit hard. My sister moved to The Villages in Florida. Smart gal. However, there is that alligator thing. |

| 3 degrees here this morning. Even with heaters the water had at least a skin of ice. But at least the snow didn't stick to the feed cart tires this morning! |

Location: 31 lengths farms | I reminded myself a few times on Monday as I trotted around my circle driveway and up and down the in road to "ride" how lucky I am that it isn't -30, and my ground may be soggy and standing water but my horses aren't dealing with an artic blast!!! Stay safe!!!

Location: Dubach, LA | My grandkids "ice skates" on my pond. Do y'all understand how rare that is in Louisiana? Like once in a lifetime rare?

Location: Kansas | One time I ice skated on my sloping driveway but it wasn't by choice. Not quite ready for the Olympics yet. Kinda hurt.

Location: On My Horse! | CanCan, that is such a neat picture of your grandkids on the frozen pond. Hard to believe that is Louisiana! As for me down here in Sunny South FL, its been 70s and 80s. Sunday night will be a low of 47. I suppose I'll blanket the horses so they don't get cold. haha! I don't know if I could live anywhere else.lol |

Location: North Dakota | We set a record last weekend. City about 2 hours to the West of me had a windchill "feels like" record of -70*F. We got to around "feels like" -64*F with 25 mph winds, and I think the air temp was around -23*F. Yeah ...... cold. |

Location: Jersey Girl | I'm in NJ. Highs have been in the low 20s w/wind chills in the single digits. Still not as bad as others but bad enough. And after 2 years we actually got about 6 inches of snow. Ewwww. Supposed to be in the mid 50's by the end of the week but rain. Sooooo there will be lots of mud around. |
