I forgot his name now but the member that would break down each round of the NFR for us. fatchance saved my life with my little renegade mare with a post about keeping their feet moving and Diane Guinn's post in regards to a certain hackamore got me past some hurdles with the same little mare and then 10 years later I ended up buying a horse from her sight unseen based off her word and he has been a blessing. That was Andy (Wrapsnap) that used to do the NFR run break downs

I don't think you're far off. With Facebook and other social media being infected with AI slop, I think we could see a resurgence of forums. At least, that's my hope. I've been horseless for almost 10 years now, but I still stop in occasionally. I'll never forget this place. Maybe you're right --- there are so many fake posts on FB that it's alarming - you don't know who you are reading a long post from and the pic looks a little fake and you go to their profile and their photos are all fake. grrrr
