Location: Nebraska | ...wanna swap ideas? I like making western crafts for my house out of my hubby's old ropes. I shape the ropes into bowls, vases, I wrap them around clocks, mirrors, I make candleholders out of them. I've even sold a few for some extra cash. Anybody else have western crafts that they make? |

Location: in texas now! | Hey, cool Idea. I am redoing my house and would love some more ideas. I made crosses out of my hubbys ropes(hope he doesn't miss them ) I secured with wire in the middle then tied raffiti around the middle to hide the wire. I also made crosses and angels out of old barbed wire , they turned out cute and you can make them any size you need. |

Location: Somewhere but really not Anywhere | I am not that talented...but my friend is and what I have had him do it, being very special to me is my dad's old team roping ropes. My dad is my hero....he has made me what I am today....so I took 2 of his ropes and my friend (master florist) coiled dad's ropes loosly and then made an arrangement of Red flowers and great looking loose greenery and it hangs on my livingroom wall and will hang there to remind me of how thankful I am to have such a great dad! It really looks great! |

Location: Somewhere but really not Anywhere | duh...I must be blonde....oh yea, I am....I redid my daughters room , painted it a dard barn red on one wall and I took rope and hung it on the top of her room like you would put a border up at the top....I nailed it up with straight pens so when I decide to take it down, it won't leave holes in the wall...Also used old barn wood for shelves..! |
