I WAS ATTENDING THE EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA THIS PAST WEEKEND AND THERE WAS A LADY WHOS HORSE GOT AWAY FROM HER AT THE FIRST BARREL AND RAN OVER THE DRAG I WAS WONDERING IF ANY BODY KNEW HOW HER AND THE HORSE WAS THESE GUYS DIDNT EVEN TRY TO MOVE THE TRACTOR OR ANYTHING IT WAS SOMETHING THAT REALLY SCARED ME.

I spoke with the vet who looked at the horse and he said the horse was OK.  The tractor driver did not move the tractor in fear of spooking the horse.  The horse was standing behind the 4-N-one.

OK I DID NOT SEE EXACTLY WHAT WAS HAPPENING I CAME IN JUST ABOUT THE TIME HE WENT ACROSS THE DRAG IT DID NOT APPEAR THAT HE WAS INJURED THAT BAD BUT I DID NOT KNOW . DID ANYONE STAY AND RUN THE AVERAGE I HEARD THEY ONLY GAVE AWAY SADDLES

I posted this on anothe post & it is in regards to yours.

I agree with you on the tractor in the arena. It wouldn't  take that much effort to put a few portable livestock panels around the tractor to drive into at tha back corner of the arena. The gate man could close  & open the gate  for the tractor person. If enough of us got together & voiced our opinion publicly I think it could be done. just wanting everyone & their horses to be safe!

THANKS I THOUGHT I WAS BEIN A LITTLE PUSHY  I HAD A STROKE A FEW YEARS AGO AND I DONT THINK AS FAST AS I USED TO AND IT JUST REMINDED ME HOW QUICK SOMETHING CAN GO WRONG.

That's a good idea Belinda. I don't know why, but those tractors and drags seem to have magnets that draw horses to them when they get loose or have a change of direction. Scary!!!
