Location: Washington State | I see allot of you determine how far you are going to travel on the price of fuel. I am in Washington and it is running about $1.85 a gallon for unleaded. I am curious as to the cost in some of your areas?

Location: Down the Gravel Road near the Missouri River, SD | $1.849 for a gallon of gas in my town, maybe 10 cents less in the bigger cities near here. Filling up my pickup is costing about $60. DANG! |

Location: Mississippi | i have an additional 70 gallon tank on my truck it costs me around $200 to completely gas up. but once i do i can go 9 hours before i stop |

Location: Western performance horse Hades | Boy have you got it lucky. In the south bay area (San Jose) I've paid $2.03 for the cheap stuff and even that has rose to $2.07. On the peninsula toward San Fran it is $2.13 or higher. I've seen $4.00 for full service and some people pay that! |

Location: Little House on the Prairie, SD | The other day I fueled up for 5 cents. Boy was I excited. Then I realized that the pump was actually empty so I had to fill up w/ premium to the tune of $1.89 a gallon. |

Location: on airplane in some other country | i guess we are lucky, diesal is about $1.52 a gallon. but when you only get 10 miles to the gallon it is cheaper to gas up get yourself a six-pack go home and watch old runs of yourself on your camcorder (remembering the good ole days) |

| I saw diesel for $1.69 in town, sometimes it's a nickel cheaper on the interstate. I am going to HAVE to find a gas buddy even to go to the weekly jackpots just 50 miles away. Sheesh! I would really like to know what is driving the high fuel prices. To me this is very detrimental to the economy because the cost of transporting goods gets passed on to the consumer in higher prices. We need some relief! I feel guilty for griping when I read that Californians are paying over $2!!! |

Location: Barnesville, GA | I don't have an auxillary tank, but GA diesel is reasonable, compared to elsewhere @ mid 1.50's high 1.40's. We are lucky, to be paying that much money for such a trashy, (literally) petroleum(gross) byproduct. My truck / trailer drink diesel like its nothing, while it gets driven 80+ and is chunky @ 23k Lbs, 9mpg is nothing to brag on. The tell tale of the auxillary is going somewhere new and you don't know good or bad places to stop for fuel, or if you just run locally, you could, "wait" out the higher prices in hopes that when the "big" tank runs dry, the demand will be less and production back up, hence lower prices. Well, I don't know much, but what I do know, I'll be glad to share! |
