Location: New Mexico | I am still learning all the acronyms that are used on the boards today. Please tell me what some of them are:
OT? IMO? (in my opinion?) etc. I know this sounds crazy, but I don't know all of them. I teach junior high students who instant message each other all the time from their home computers. They are constantly using this letters in place of the words. Please help me shed some light on this subject. What acronyms do you frequently use and why? |

Location: Little House on the Prairie, SD | ROFLMAO TY Now the TY thing took me a long time to figure out. I guess it's Thank You, which I don't find all that hard to just type out. I had a gal emailing me about a horse I had for sale, and she ended all of her emails Ty, *Lucy So I thought it was from Ty and *Lucy. So I'm writing back "Hi Ty and *Lucy!" I'm sure she thought I was on crack. *some names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Location: New Mexico | How about BRB? I found out today this means "be right back". I think the acronym board is a great idea. Who do we contact to get this done? I still don't know what Lucy means. |
