Anyone know anything about it?
I know that they're selling off their assets so that they can focus primarily on media and promoting western sports.
They are selling both the ranches. And Western Livestock is doing a "complete" dispersal of the horses they have.
I think that Sheridan got tired of having all of the "stuff" surrounding the horses. He is still riding, but as you know it is a lot easier to show up at the barn, and show then supervise the barn.

I don't think Sheridan is that invovled with Teton Ridge's ranches, he's got his own even bigger ranch. I do think Teton Ridge thought their program would be bigger than it ended up being so they're cutting their losses & just moving on from a bad business investment
They bought market share to get in on the media companies. They make enough money on the media and they own the associations. Now they no longer need the horses to give them creditibility. Owners wouldn't sell if they didn't have interest in horses. Their end goal was the media company and association ownerships.
