So, I've been out of barrel racing for about 3 yrs now. I have a 4yr old and a 1 yr old sons. I work full time (50+hours) and I also live in an area with crummy weather/ground right now. I have been wanting to get back to barrel racing/rodeo but havent found the time or support. My husband is always gone working.

So, I was thinking about things the other night and realized if I don't start barrel racing, I probably never will! Ugh. I still have my horse (shes been turned out.).

So, I called a trainer that I know and scheduled my horse to go get ridden for a month or two...but now, that leaves me. I've gotta get fit now, or I wont be able to ride her when she gets back.

Any advice on where to start? I need to get back in riding shape.
