Just a reminder to use a qualified equine dentist. My dentist was doing ROUTINE MAINTENANCE today, and found a wolf tooth that had not been completely removed. The horse's wolf teeth had been removed when he was gelded at 10 months. This dentist has done this horse before. She said it was rare to see a horse get a wolf tooth after they are a couple of years old. Mine is 11. I have owned this horse since he was a baby and have had other equine dentists work on him. I guess this piece of a tooth finally worked its way down where she could feel it. The horse has not been turning the 1st barrel perfectly and has not had a big enough issue to really worry about it, can't wait to see how he turns this weekend. This probably would have been overlooked by many people.
