My 7 year old had a scary incident where she fell off and her foot got caught in the stirrup.  Her right foot got caught and she went off the left side, so she never actually hit the ground.  Her pony was cantering in open pasture and went through a small ditch the popped her out of the saddle.  Luckily the pony only cantered a few strides and stopped and my daughter was not hurt at all, just scared.  I want to get new stirrups for her saddle and looking for recommendations.  What is on her saddle now is definitely too small.  I've heard stories of release stirrups breaking and becoming a different kind of hazard completely.  Is a curved stirrup helpful?  Or a certain brand or style that would be recommended?  Willing to look into any suggestions, even if they are pricey, safe is worth it!  Thanks!
