Regular Posts: 51 Location: Under the Northern Lights	I am thinking of trying a Sharon Camarillo lifter bit with 9" cheeks on a horse who has a tendency to shoulder. Has anyone else had good luck with this type of bit or any other elevating/lifting bits?

Expert Posts: 1422 Location: New Mexico	I use this same bit on my daughter's good horse. He really works well with it. I also run my colt in a short shank Sharon Camarillo lifter bit. It helps him to work of his rear end.

Sexy Bee Yacht Posts: 5849 Location: WA	I have the short camarillo lifter... it works great for my horse... she has a sensitive mouth and just takes a little pressure to work her in it. Kinda nice. The short I think is the 7" bit.... I picked it up off Ebay for $25 instead of $50 but I hawk eyed ebay for a bout a month.... It works well to keep their shoulders up, in my opinion. I got familiarized with it at her clinic and made a run in it there.... our run was just a second off our run from two nights before and we had an operator error in there. Good luck.
