They won't pay much. Circle Y's bring barely $1500 if they are super fancy and look new. I paid $1200 for a Champion Turf like new.

The Harris and Blue Ribbon bring the big $$$

The Billy Cook show saddles average $1200 to $1500 depending on condition.

This is what I was thinking too. It looks a lot like mine, tooling and everything.

There are several used Billy Cook Pleasure saddles for sale on e-bay to compare yours to.  You can also check out tack-trader.com.  Try there.  It seems that used Pleasure saddles don't hold their value like some of the Barrel Racing ones do.

I recently sold a Tex Tan loaded with silver show saddle for $1200. It was in excellent condition -- had only been ridden in the show pen and had been kept in a saddle bag.   It had the silver horn, close contact cut-outs and silver stirrups.  I had paid $2000 for it new in 1999. The style was such that it was still "current" so I was in luck that it was in demand.  It sold within about three days of my listing it on ebay for the $1200 buy-now price.  As others stated, the Harris and Blue Ribbons are very popular and hold their value.... and so do Bob's.

Ok..i have someone wanting to trade this for a horse..and wanted to make sure the prices were somewhat in the same ball park. Thank you for your replies. I did check ebay and most similar ones did not have bids in that range. (She wants 1600$ for the saddle). I dont want to trade the horse and loose my fanny if the saddle is not of equal value.

No I bought it used, but not sure what year it is. I had some people in the business look at it for me and tell me if it was worth it or not.
