Just curious what everyone else uses to keep their horse happy, healthy and sound? Especially when you're hauling hard down the road. Any supplements, ice, massages. etc.? Please add in whatever you use, I can't seem to think of anything right now.

magnets, ice boots, chiropractic, great supplements, soft rides for hard cement or crappy ground, and my horses LOVE to go on trail rides, so after a race or lots of training we trail ride and turn out or track cattle.

My horse gets chiropracted and massaged every alternating 6 weeks. I have found THE supplements have worked the best at keeping them healthy and sound. I also ice their legs, give liniment bathes on hard workout days, and will wrap their legs afterward put THE ThiamOxide on to relieve any swelling/pain/soreness

What do you use to ice your horses legs? I'm interested in buying something to use to ice my horses legs, but not sure what some other people use.

Back on Track & Sore No More have worked well for home and on the road.....good ole cold water & a hose as well (even on the road) I do my own energy work to keep muscles and their body supple

proper warm up & cool down (at home & on road)

I added farrier & diet to the list cause no feet, no horse and to feel good on the inside makes them feel good outside too...

Great farrier, 24/7 turn out time, and a good feeding and conditioning program.

This is what I use. Nothing super fancy and I feel like it gets their legs super cold.

i don't have to haul long hours yet.. but i make sure to get my horses injected a month before rodeo season starts and it works wonders for my mare but i haven't seen my gelding injected yet but its worked wonders for me! also when I'm not competing i just go out and do short rides in the field whenever i can. works for me!
