| I've been looking at the Fuel or XTN for my mare, the reviews I've seen on it are AMAZING! my mare is on Nutrena Perform but she just doesn't look or act like she did on Nutrena Compete. Not much energy, coat isn't as good, and she didn't muscle up she just got fat. Basically I don't like it.
But, she's an easy keeper. I think she'd do better with the Fuel or XTN, but again easy keeper.
Who has their easy keepers on the ProForce line? How do you like it? |

| Forgot to ad, she is shiny but not like "wow you use show sheen" shiny like last year. And last winter even on stall rest she kept her muscle, this winter she looks out of shape in medium work. Last time she looked like this she was on SafeChoice Original. |

Location: Alberta | I love feeding XTN. I had a mare that I was running barrels on for some people and I had noticed that she was starting to look more like a thoroughbred rather than a quarter horse. So I started feeding her XTN and she put on some weight and she gained some muscle and overall she looked healthier. Like your horse she was shiny but once I put her on it she became really shiny. I fed it in a ratio of 2:1. Two parts oats and one part XTN then I would add in any supplements that she would be on.
I also have a horse that had no changes when I put him on the XTN. I tried feeding him different amounts and his body and coat condition never changed. He was the only one that I have had so far that had no changes in his condition when fed XTN. |
