Extreme Veteran Posts: 366 Location: In the freezing north!	Casper outdoor? Ran there this summer for the pro rodeo, ground was great. If your a righty your first barrel is on a cement wall, and the rest is pretty wide open. Lots of pens and space to warmup.

If your a righty your first barrel is on a cement wall, and the rest is pretty wide open. Lots of pens and space to warmup. The one in November is at the indoor.

The last time I ran there my horse went down hard on the first barrel and a few other girls fell as well. But I think they have improved the ground quite a bit since then. It's a tight 13 second pen but the lighting is good. Other than the ground that one year I like that arena. But I like small indoors.

I've heard of so many horses going down in there and it doesn't matter if they are hard running 1D type horses or the lower D's - the ground isn't the best.
